MIDLAND, Va. – Stryker Howmedica, a first-class medical manufacturing facility located in Mahwah, NJ, utilized the SlenderWall architectural precast concrete panel system for the exterior renovation.

Arcon, Inc., an Easi-Set Industries SlenderWalllicensee, located in Gilford, NH, was the chosen manufacturer of the recladding project.

The patented SlenderWall architectural precast concrete panel system was chosen by Barr & Barr Contractors because it allowed the owners to upgrade the exterior appearance while using the existing framing structure. With future plans of expanding the facility, the panel system was set in certain areas to allow for removal at a later date. This allowed the owner to maintain continuity.

SlenderWall combines time-proven components to create a permanent, light weight wall system for both new construction and recladding projects. Architectural precast concrete, welded Stainless steel Nelson anchors and heavy-gauge stainless or galvanized steel studs create a single, efficient exterior wall system with unlimited design freedom.
